Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Once again, the Blossom Hill community has rallied and made the 2016 online auction a success! We must acknowledge the more than 80 wonderful businesses and individuals who generously donated services, vacation get-aways and the many wonderful packages! We also want to express our gratitude to our two super interns, Becky and Sonia, and to the dedicated Auction Committee members -- Courtney, Deena, Janet, Shirin, and Susan. We are thrilled that more than $42,500 was raised for children and youth affected by war and conflict from the Middle East. We are humbled by the unwavering support the Blossom Hill community shows each year toward children living in or fleeing from conflict. Our work continues and we will be opening up the 2017 fellowship program in the coming weeks. We eagerly await innovative proposals that put the fundamental needs of children first, knowing how essential children are to re-building the community post-conflict. Thank you to the leadership of Yale's Child Study Center for inviting Blossom Hill Foundation to Dr. Rima Salah's very thoughtful presentation last week on the importance of early childhood investment in conflict zones. We applaud Dr. Salah and Yale's leadership and commitment to ensuring the rights of children are upheld to create a more peaceful world! ![]() Big news for #GivingTuesday! Any donation made to the Blossom Hill Foundation on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 will be matched by an anonymous donor. Donate here to double your gift. The match expires at midnight EST.
