Blossom Hill held its annual Farm to Fork dinner last week celebrating ten years of achievements in making breakthroughs for children affected by war and conflict. Founder and Executive Director Shiva Sarram opened the night's program by recounting the impact the trauma of war has on children's wellbeing and rights. Today, with 31 million children forcibly displaced around the world, the needs remain urgent.
Blossom Hill invests in peace through innovation. Over this last decade, Blossom Hill has turned children's hopes and dreams into reality. To date, we have reached over 56,000 boys and girls in 19 countries, thanks to the inspiring work of 21 Fellows and 25 diverse programs. Please view this video to see our impact on the ground.
To celebrate our ten year mark, Lexi Shereshewsky was awarded Blossom Hill's first Be Kind award for the first Montessori-inspired Early Childhood Center for refugees in Jordan in honor of William Mahoney and his family, our founding donors.
Our Fellows are leaders, solvers and innovators who work tirelessly everyday on behalf of refugee children and communities. Our work must continue to make sure children continue to thrive under the most difficult conditions. We cannot do this without the commitment and compassionate support of donors like you.
Please consider making a donation today so we can continue to turn children's hopes into reality.
